UFC Undisputed 2010 project manager Neven Dravinski has said that his team has 'destroyed' the competition in creating the definitive mixed martial arts game.
But speaking to OPM in its latest issue, Dravinski claimed that the only competition for UFC Undisputed 2010 was last year's instalment, UFC 2009 Undisputed.
"We sat down in the summer and thought, 'We've made arguably the best MMA game ever, but now we have to kill it.' That's the new standard people expect," he said.
"We went into this with the full intention of erasing all memory of 2009."
In fact, Dravinski is so focused on bettering 2009's UFC outing that he isn't even giving EA's potential rival head-space.
When asked about the competition he said, "To be honest I look at our competition as UFC 2009. I don't know what's going on with the other game at the other company, but we know what they were looking at and we absolutely destroyed that."
