Activision opened the press conference with a Black Ops demonstration from Mark Lamia.
UPDATE Activision's just put out the press release.
The deal includes "all add ons and map packs from the Call of Duty franchise through 2012," including Black Ops.

Thats really a great deal isn't it M$
I don't know why they bother with DLC coming first to them, what difference does it make? Other than the fact M$ are just making themselves look more like dicks.

Great one MS, why not force people to buy your machine, rather than tempt people with ggod first party games.
Anyone could throw monay at a developer to secure exclusives, but out of principle, I would not touch youre machine, as I dont like being blackmailed.
I will Stick to PS3's better versions of multi-format games and 1st class first party games - even if I do have to wait an extra month for DLC...
Wait a minute, I already decided that Cod6 was the last one I buy, and will not be spending £11 on 3 new maps ever again.

I know we may sound like ps3 fanboys but I just cant see the point in this. I've only just got around to buying the 1st map pack. Will this really create sales for MS. + wont everyone be playing Medal of Honor by then.

when Medal Of Honour comes out and kicks COD's ass then they will look so retarded as people will figure out that EA dont just want MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY like Activision and play that instead of COD:Give me your cash

Umm interesting. That said nothing new as MS seems to get most of the exclusives both for retail games and their DLC. I wonder in the grand scheme of things how much all of the money spent getting these exclusives actually pays off.

Oh noes! I have a PS3!
Are you telling me I now have to wait a month before I can refuse to pay for maps I don't want?!
I'm literally in tears.

Well I have both systems, but do not have Live cos paying for that takes the p**s so just Silver here. Map Packs don't buy them too because that is a p**s take too. Play CoD on PS3 because it's free online so the natural choice.
Will never buy another CoD game again after the joke MW2 is, broke as s**t.
So IW and MS stick it where the sun don't shine because I don't care for s**te games and s**te companies like you.....................
Uncharted 3 wanted here nice simple, will be a great game too.

Oh well, it seems us PS3 players have just been sh!t on again everyone.
Why do this on a multi-platform game, its not fair on the people who enjoy playing the franchise but are being punished just because they don't own an Xbox.
They will probably buy the whole damn franchise next and make it exclusive.
Thanks microsoft........w**kers.
