Zone of the Enders 3 'pushed back' - Kojima

"Various things" have taken priority according to ZOE dev

Zone of the Enders 3 may not be on its way after all, at least for the foreseeable future, according to Hideo Kojima.

"Regarding ZOE3, there's been various things, so it's been sort of pushed to the back," Kojima revealed in a live UStream during his Peace Walker promotional tour.

It's a vague status update. "Various things" could mean anything but Kojima moved on to talk about another upcoming 'taboo' title, and made it sound like it's going to be his next focus.

"The Taboo is a project for high spec machines that I'm hoping to do myself next," he said.

"It may or may not be a taboo, but for me, I think it will be quite the problematic game."

Here's the full Ustream that Hideo and Kojima Productions staff did from a hotel bathroom:

Kojima hinted via Twitter that his next game after Peace Walker will be a Zone of the Enders title after promising a third in the series last year.
