Infinity Ward moves to replace quitters

Senior job adverts appear online

Infinity Ward has started to replace the senior staff members who quit earlier this year - following the infamous West/Zampella incident.

Among the jobs now being advertised online are associate producer, senior animator, senior effects artist, senior environment artist, senior game designer and senior software engineer.

The roles would go some way in replacing the list of Modern Warfare developers who walked out the exit door earlier this year, including senior designers Mohammad Alavi, Chad Grenier and Brent McLeod, lead designers Mackey McCandlish and Todd Alderman, lead animator Mark Grisby, lead environmental artist Chris Cherubini and lead animator John Paul Messerly.

It's been said that almost 50% of the studio left during the early 2010 exodus.

Many of the departed Infinity Ward employees joined West and Zampella's new EA-backed studio, Respawn.
