The latest twist in the never-ending Nintendo 3DS release date saga has arrived this morning, as online retailer Play.com starts penning 3DS titles for release as early as this November.
According to the retailer's penmanship, the Nintendo 3DS Dragon Ball title will be released on November 19, 2010, while the handheld's Gundam game has been offered a March 25, 2011 release date on the site.
Retailer dates should always be taken with a pinch of salt of course, but it's interesting that out of all of Play.com's 3DS listings these are the only two titles to be given (a pretty specific, it has to be said) release date.
Adding even more weight to the dates is the fact that both games are housed at the same publishing house: Namco Bandai. We'll send them a nicely written e-mail.
Last week Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime allegedly told a US talk show host that the 3DS will arrive in 2011, only for "sources" close to Nintendo's Japan headquarters to dismiss the comments as an "error".
Earlier than that, high ranking sources close to retail suggested the handheld would be released by Christmas in the UK.
