Star Craft 2 copies in the wild

Leaked Star Craft 2 special edition unboxing video surfaces

Highly anticipated RTS sequel, Star Craft 2: Wings of Liberty on PC, isn't due in shops until July 27 but it looks as though copies are already sneaking their way into the hands of eager punters (or sneaky shop/factory workers).

A video of what appears to be an unboxing of the Collector's Edition version of the game has hit the internet a full three weeks before the game's on-sale date.

The special edition of the highly anticipated RTS game will include a 176-page book featuring artwork from the game, an exclusive 2GB USB flash drive replica of Jim Raynor's dog tag, a behind-the-scenes DVD, a soundtrack CD, a comic, an in-game pet, exclusive DLC, and more. It's a pretty hefty package - lots more details here.

The real danger of copies sneaking out so early is of one of these discs finding itself ripped and leaked onto the internet for dirty pirates. Bad news for the game's sales. That unboxing video below.
