Starcraft 2 cost more than Red Dead Redemption

Wall Street Journal sticks $100m pricetag on development of RTS

The Wall Street Journal has suggested that Blizzard's Starcraft 2 is one of the most expensive games ever made - sticking a whopping $100m development cost on the RTS.

That cost would put the game at more expensive than sprawling epics Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV. Previous reports have placed the creation of both Rockstar titles at around $80 million.
