The PS3 demo for Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will go out to PlayStation Plus subscribers days before the rest of the PS3 world, Sony has confirmed.
If you've got a PS Plus account, you will be blasting your way through the grainy, YouTube-influenced Shanghai shooter tomorrow, July 19 (July 20 in US).
If you've not got a PS Plus account, you'll be twiddling your thumbs in raw anticipation and jealousy until July 21 in UK (July 27 in US) when the demo will pop up on the PS Store for all to enjoy. Or you'll just play some more Red Dead Redemption and not be particularly bothered. Each to their own.
Here's what you'll get in the demo:
"The demo includes relentless action in single player and online multiplayer. Play as psychopath Lynch, wanted by the entire underworld and on the run in the backstreets and rooftops of Shanghai. And play Fragile Alliance, the acclaimed multiplayer heist game based on greed, betrayal & revenge, now extended with more risk and more rewards. Get in, steal the loot, and get out in 4 minutes, but trust no one."
Sony notes that the demo will be released as an automatic download and so, to receive it that way you'll obviously need to dive into the System Settings menu and turn on the Automatic Downloads option, setting the intervals at which you'd like your PS3 to go online hunting for new stuff.
