Star Wars: Force Unleashed producer quits

13-year vet says goodbye to LucasArts

The writer and producer of the Star Wars: Force Unleashed games, Haden Blackman has today resigned from LucasArts.

The studio confirmed as much to IGN today, as the industry vet leaves his post after 13 years at the company. Before the Force Unleashed games, Blackman worked on Star Wars: Force Commander and Star Wars Galaxies, and a number of Star Wars comics.

He told IGN: "While the decision to leave LucasArts did not happen overnight or come easily, I really feel that now is the best time for me to move on and explore new creative challenges and I look forward to the next phase of my career."

Force Unleashed will be out in October with some rather cool pre-order bonuses.
