Uncharted 2 was undoubtedly one of 2009's most cherished releases - and yet a Game Of The Year Edition has not yet been released by Sony. However, that may all change if developer Naughty Dog gets its way.
It's highly likely that the studio's currently hard at work on Uncharted 3 - but that doesn't mean it wants to just let the past lie.
Naughty Dog studio manager community strategist Arne Meyer told PlayStation University that a GOTY edition was "an option we would certainly be interested in exploring, but we don't have any announcements at this time".
Any GOTY release would be likely to feature all DLC for the game, which includes last year's The Fort and Eye of Indra Multiplayer Skin Pack.
It could also feature 2010's PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack and April's popular Siege DLC, which included six character skins, a new co-op game mode for 2-3 players, two new maps and 11 additional Trophies.
Meyer also revealed that, as development on the game progressed, Naughty Dog has to up its staff count to deal with the title's demands.
"Well, luckily for us we had been planning for some time to move the studio just a few hundred feet to a new, bigger space to make sure we had plenty of room to increase our headcount over the course of development," he said.
"I'm not sure if you'd heard about our studio space towards the end of development on Uncharted 2, but we had run out of room for our new hires and even had to build new workspaces. Little did we know at the time that we would need some of that additional space for the awards!"
