Transformers: War for Cybertron DLC out

New maps and characters on PS3, 360

Activision has confirmed the second DLC pack for Transformers: War for Cybertron is now available on Xbox 360 and PS3.

The pack contains new characters Zeta Prime and Dead End, who will be playable in the Escalation mode.

The pack also features five new maps playable in the Escalation mode and in competitive multiplayer. The first map, Pulse, is an Autobot map that will allow players to venture inside Decepticon, Trypticon.


Static, a Decepticon map, is comprised of multiple levels, each which have a number of environmental traps.

Horizon takes place in the Autobot city Iacon, which has been ravaged by the war. Meanwhile, Sector is an old maintenance facility used by the Decepticons and Metropolis drops players in the ruins of a high rise Iacon building.

The Transformers: War for Cybertron Map and Characters Pack 2 is currently available for 800 MSP and £9.99 on PSN.

NetDragon recently announced a partnership with Hasbro to release an MMO based on the Transformers IP.
