US retailer WalMart has listed 'MAG 2' on its website - suggesting a sequel to Sony's large-scale warfare FPS may be on the way.
The first MAG was developed by Zipper Interactive, the studio most known for developing a number of popular SOCOM titles.
MAG's major selling point was its large scale battles, where up to 256 players go head to head in smaller squads.
Zipper is currently known to be working on SOCOM 4, which is scheduled for release for the PlayStation 3 in 2011, complete with PlayStation Move support.
SOCOM 4 was originally promoted as a 2010 game, however Sony recently confirmed the game has be delayed and would now release in 2011.
