Capcom is using the same MT Framework engine, used to build many of its big HD console games, to develop its 3DS titles.
And according to an Impress Watch tech report (and impressive comparison screenshots below) the 3DS hardware is capable of a fair few processing tricks that make its games even more stunning than you might expect.
So nice in fact, that according to Siliconera's translations, Capcom aims to come pretty close to patching the visual spendour of Resident Evil 5 on Xbox with Resident Evil: Revelations on 3DS.
The game's not due out for some time, but the 3DS itself has recently been strongly rumoured for a November release. Check out the screenshots below - impressive stuff.
