Ubisoft has delayed plans to launch the multiplayer beta for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
The PS3-only beta was scheduled to go live today in US, exclusively to those who've pre-ordered the game at US retailer GameStop. But having not gone live as planned, Ubisoft confirmed to Joystiq that it's been postponed.
It offered no reason as to why, nor an alternative launch date for it, saying only that it will deliver more information "later this week". Bit rude, standing up its fans and not even calling to explain why in advance, eh?
The beta's not due to go live in UK until October 4. It's also a pre-order deal, but not restricted to any particular retail as far as we understand.
