Pokémon Black And White has sold 2.63 million copies in just two days. The new Pokémon DS adventures went on sale on Saturday in Japan and have already broken records for the best opening week in Japanese sales history.
So it looks like the decision to release another all-new Pokémon adventure for DS has paid off. Fans of the series have already been treated to Diamond &Pearl, Platinum and HeartGold & SoulSilver on DS but it seems they can't get enough of the pocket monsters.
Not only are the new adventures proving insanely popular in Japan but they've also been critically acclaimed, with Famitsu awarding Black & White a 10/10 review score earlier this month.
Of course we'll have to wait until Spring 2011 for Pokémon Black and White to be released in the UK. The game's main story only features new Pokemon, including the Legendary pair Reshiram and Zekrom.
