Forza: Ultimate 'unrelated' to Kinect

New box won't include features shown at E3, MS confirms

Just-announced Forza 3: Ultimate Edition is unrelated to the Kinect-enabled version shown off at this year's E3, despite releasing almost at the same time, a spokesperson has confirmed to CVG.


The Turn 10 racer was shown off in Los Angeles this summer with 'steering wheel' Kinect controls, head tracking and the ability to walk around and inspect virtual cars.

That's all totally separate to the Ultimate Edition releasing next month though, it's been confirmed.

Ultimate Collection is set to include all previously released Forza 3 DLC, a code to download "Stig's Garage Car Pack" and an exclusive 90-minute Top Gear video.

The Top Gear content arrives via a new deal with the BBC which will see a number of co-promotions between the two brands in the future, says MS
