The console versions of Super Street Fighter IV could soon be updated with the new characters and content introduced in the arcade version of the game via download packs on XBLA and PSN.
Producer Yoshinori Ono has revealed he's pitching the idea to Capcom US in San Francisco this week, and we can't see why the firm would turn him away.
"Just now, I had written proposal about DLC for SSFIV AE's PSN,XLB at last," Ono posted on Twitter (via Joystiq) yesterday. By "AE" he means Arcade Edition. "I'll go to San francisco on tomorrow," he added.
This could mean we'll see the release of characters like Yun and Yang (SF3: Third Strike faces who recently appeared in SSFIV Arcade Edition), as well as other balancing tweaks and features exclusive to the coin chompers.
