The final Xbox 360 code of Call Of Duty: Black Ops may soon be in the wild if a (believable) new pic and an (unbelievable) new story are to be taken as read.
'Notorious hacker' Ungodly Leaker has purportedly got his/her hands on the final disc of Black Ops, as shown in the pic here - which looks pretty legit to us.
According to Hooked Gamers, the code made its way into Mr/Mrs Leaker's hands after a thief stole multiple copies from a pressing plant in Alabama.
Sound a little far fetched? Perhaps, but further images from Twitter seem to back up HG's suggestion that Treyarch is already trying to clamp down on the leak.
It reports: "Treyarch's community manager, Josh Olin, attempted to join the hacking forum [used by Ungodly Hacker] and negotiate with the people involved, as well as those who had dealt with the Beta Leak, but was subsequently banned from the entire forum.
"Regardless, he was able to get in contact with several members outside of the forums realms - one of them, a regular on the forum known as 97SIRHB, was contacted via twitter...
"97SIRHB then posted on the forum, revealing publicly that Josh was seeking information on the potential leakers and that if the game was leaked, that he would make sure the entire site was shut down."
If it does leak onto the ol' internet, don't touch it, eh? You'll only end up in trouble.
The real deal, Call Of Duty: Black Ops, is released worldwide for 360, PS3, PC and Wii on November 9.
