Albert Ng, the amateur artist who scribbled down a few of his own concepts for Uncharted 3: World of Deceit, has denied that his art has any relation to Naughty Dog's new game. Boo.
Ng's work was so good that even Amazon thought it was the real deal. The retailer listed Uncharted 3: World of Deceit shortly after the sketches were uncovered.
Albert Ng subsequently reiterated that the work "was a project done for an architecture class" and "has no affiliation with Naughty Dog".
Speaking on his blog, he apologised for the studio for the mix up. Perhaps Naughty Dog should give him a shot - his work is obviously good enough to convince Amazon (and break the hearts of gamers around the world).
Albert previously worked for Tyler West Studio, which creates conceptual art for game companies.
Fans have voted Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2 as the greatest PlayStation game ever.
