Hal manager Takashi Ikegami is so pleased with how Kirby's Epic Yarn has turned out, that he feels there's potential for the 'yarn' theme to continue in other franchises - like 'Mario Epic Yarn', for example.
"When I first saw them, I thought they were perfect for Kirby. I think there's a lot of potential for expanding this style to other series, like making a game called Mario's Epic Yarn," he said during a recent Iwata Asks interview (via ONM).
"That's how well I thought the foundation had been laid, so I was really happy that from among all the characters available it was Kirby who was chosen," added Ikegami.
Kirby's Epic Yarn is already out in US and Japan - and is awesome - but won't be hitting Euro shores until Q1 2011. Bummer.
