Much-delayed role playing game Stargate Worlds appears unlikely to ever make it to market after rights holder MGM Studios terminated the license it granted to developer Cheyenne Mountain back in 2006.
According to Cheyenne Mountain chairman and CEO Gary Whiting, MGM issued a notice of termination on November 3.
"MGM has been very good to work with us," Whiting told the East Valley Tribune.
"We missed several deadlines like that along the way. And I know they're having their own struggles right now."
The game was described by our friends at PC Zone as "like the spawn of WOW and Puzzle Pirates". Looks like we'll never know.
