Sega's confirmed that Shogun 2: Total War will be released on March 15, 2011.
Shogun 2 takes place in 16th century Japan, where a volatile political climate encourages Warlords to attempt to take control of the nation.

We're guessing it's almost ready, then.

I'm counting down the days! I love Shogun 1 but I hate how it won't run on modern computers for some reason, and the improvements from the later TW's with the Japanese setting may well make for the best RTS of all time!

1. Shogun is looking amazing
2. They are closer to remaking rome total war
3. I've been waiting since Empire for a melee central game

This is looking fooking amazing!
And like those above have said, the megaton, potentially-greatest-game-of-all-time announcement of Rome II (or Elder Scrolls 5!!!) is drawing ever nearer as the days pass in this cold world (or maybe its just like that in England).
