Developer Remedy is working on a Kinect game using the Alan Wake engine, a new job ad suggests.
A programmer ad on the developer's official site says the successful applicant "will be working on the next iteration of Remedy's unique game engine that was previously used in Alan Wake".
The Max Payne creator says it will appreciate applicants with knowledge and experience working "on motion-control technology (e.g. Kinect)".
Remedy has openly discussed plans for a sequel to Alan Wake in the past, however, since the game failed to set the world on fire the future of the franchise is uncertain.
If this is anything to go by Remedy could've finally got the go ahead on the follow-up, with the clause that it'll need Kinect support, or it could simply be out to bash out a quick motion game to pay the bills.
Take note however that the ad says that Kinect experience is only "appreciated" - so it might not be using the motion sensor at all.
