Bioware's new game is a Mass Effect multiplayer spin-off, reports suggest.
According to a Kotaku "development source" the game that was teased yesterday and is set to be unveiled by Bioware on December 11 is a multiplayer game aimed at the Call of Duty market.
"We're told to expect player progression in the vein of Activision's wildly popular online shooter along with some sort of single-player component that does not feature Mass Effect's Commander Shepard in a leading role," says Kotaku.
Way back in May a Bioware job ad was spotted for a multiplayer programmer who would join the developer's Montreal studio on the Mass Effect franchise.
It fits with the above rumour, of course, but all of this is still exactly that. All will be revealed on December 11.
