Nintendo of America has announced that Wii owners will be able to download demos of select WiiWare games beginning on Monday, November 22.
The initial lineup of demos includes BIT.TRIP FATE, And Yet It Moves, ThruSpace and Jett Rocket. Additional demos will be added on Mondays and each will remain available on the Wii Shop Channel for a limited time.
UK Wii owners should be able to download WiiWare demos from tomorrow, beginning with Furry Legends, Jett Rocket, ThruSpace and Zombie: Panic In Wonderland.
Nintendo launched a trial WiiWare demo scheme last year in a bid to stimulate sales of downloadable titles, which it said made up just a small part of its business.
That experiment ended in January, but the all-new service should be more of a long-term thing, with Nintendo promising 'ongoing' downloadable games.
