Kinect XNA support is coming

Indie devs will be set loose with Microsoft motion control

Independent developers using XNA Studio will be able to make games for Kinect in the future.

That's according to Kinect project director Alex Kipman, who's said that there will be Kinect functionality in XNA eventually.

"There's no Kinect support through XNA today, but that's something that we will support in the future."

That's good news for all the tech-twiddlers we've seen so far doing all kinds of crazy things with Kinect - especially following news in August that there would be no Kinect XNA support.

We've seen one chap render both himself and his environment in 3D in real-time and another turn himself into a doughy looking character before our very eyes.
