Two much-rumoured new characters have joined the roster in Konami's vamp-killing co-op romp, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair on Xbox Live Arcade.
After a short delay, Yoko Belnades and Julius Belmont - stars of the first CV game on the DS, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - have arrived and can be downloaded for the sum of 240 MS Points.
Yoko isn't too hot on physical attacks, with a pretty weak weapon, but is a master of magic and her elemental attacks are devastating. Julius on the other has is everything you'd expect from a Belmont family member, wielding his trusty long-range whip - which doubles up as a grappling rope to swing from hooks - and the usual selection of throwing knives and other projectiles.
CV: HoD gives you and up to five other players control of heroes from the various Castlevania games of past, with the freedom to explore huge 2D castles and environments with the awesome pixel art of the DS games, Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order or Ecclesia.
