Who'd be a farmer in the winter, eh? The snow, the wind, the cold - there's no getting away from those weathery blighters if you're to tend to your hardier crops and feed your chilly sheep. There is an easier way, though...
Long-running farming sim Harvest Moon lets you grow veggies and care for a variety of animals from the comfort of your couch. And because running a smallholding might not be enough to hold your interest there's also the small matter of finding a wife, raising a family... oh, and searching for five mystical bells and reawakening the Harvest King. Standard farming stuff, then.
Harvest Moon: Animal Parade is the latest game in the series, and it introduces exotic animals for you to care for: pandas, penguins, giraffes and elephants can all take up residence on your farm (hope you've got a tall enough barn for the giraffes). The game's out this Friday, and we've got one copy to give away. We'll post the prize on Friday morning after the competition's closed on Thursday night, meaning (snow permitting) it'll arrive on Saturday. How's that for service?
