Crytek's Warface gets video

Free-to-play FPS headed to Asia

Crytek's released pre-alpha video footage of its recently announced CryEngine 3 shooter, Warface.

Co-produced by Crytek Seoul, the free-to-play, PC-only military FPS is especially dedicated to Asian markets.

The near future shooter promises to offer "a cinematic experience with next gen visuals, AI and physics based on Crytek's proprietary CryENGINE 3 game development solution".

The game - which has been confirmed for release in China under Tencent Games - provides gamers with an extensive PVE universe full of "dramatic multiplayer co-op missions, a full set of class based PVP modes and maps and will run smoothly in China's PC and internet gaming environment," says Crytek.

This isn't the highest quality YouTube video, granted, but it doesn't look bad. Chances of a Western release?
