Official Xbox 360 Magazine has got its hands on DICE's upcoming Vietnam expansion pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and come away very impressed.
In its review OXM awards the DLC 9/10, saying that it features "the definitive vehicular combat experience, classic levels and an iconic setting all for just over a tenner".
OXM praises the new flamethrower, which it says does an excellent job of "introducing blind panic" by allowing players to throw out a sheet of deadly fire.
Vietnam also features a "generous" helping of new content through five new maps that are, according to OXM, "quality" with only one "genuine dud" among them.
While 'Phu Bai Valley' is described as "indistinct" and "formless", the remaining four are praised for being "some of the best Battlefield maps" the mag has seen. Not a bad ratio there.
The review score bodes well for EA, especially since it has said Vietnam was designed to "compete head to head with Call of Duty: Black Ops".
The DLC launches tomorrow for PC and three days later for PS3 and Xbox 360.
