New Professor Layton And The Mask Of Miracles 3DS trailer

See Layton's first 3DS game in action...

Here is the new Japanese trailer for Professor Layton And The Mask Of Miracles. Mask Of Miracles is the puzzle solving archaeologist's first 3DS game and it will be released for Nintendo's new 3D console in Japan in the Spring.

The Mask Of Miracles is the second game in the Professor Layton prequel trilogy. The first - Devil's Flute - is already out for DS in Japan.

This puzzler links to the first game in the series as the titular mask was worn by Death Call in the Devil's Flute. This mask is so powerful it has managed to create an urban area called Casino City where this game is set.

The mask can grant wishes but it has also been linked to various mysterious incidents.

As you can see in the trailer below, you'll be able to play as Layton in the present day and a younger Layton who has big ginger hair in his college days.

As ever, you'll have to solve puzzles in order to progress and in addition to the main puzzles, you'll be able to download a new one every day via Wi-Fi Connection during the game's first year on sale.

This new trailer reveals another new puzzle to go along with the ladybirds puzzle. This one has you hammering blocks.
