Kinect plays World Of Warcraft in new video

University Of SoCal does the business

Kinect has been modified to play World Of Warcraft with some accuracy by US University students - and they've grabbed a helpful video for us.

According to GamesRadar, University of Southern California researchers managed the feat, which you can witness below.

Users lean forwards and backwards to move, wave their left arm to turn the camera, and hand motions to target enemies and select skills. Sounds like a lot of effort to us.

We're [currently] limited to a few commands, so I don't think it'd be very good for something like [raiding]...But if you're in casual play at a basic level, you can go around and do enough spells for common tasks. You can grind for leveling, go on quests... but this isn't going to be a substitute for your keyboard and mouse," USC researcher Evan Suma told Wired magazine.

Moon director and David Bowie offspring Duncan Jones said this week that he had high hopes for Sam Raimi's World Of Warcraft movie, which is due to hit cinemas in 2013.
