The rather exciting 3DS revamp of N64 classic Zelda: Ocarina Of Time will arrive sooner than you may have anticipated, Nintendo has revealed.
The platform holder has confirmed its initial first-party releases on the platform for Japan, led by launch game Nintendogs & Cats - of which there will be three versions.
Steel Diver, Pilotwings Resort and Ocarina of Time 3D will follow in 'spring' with Star Fox 64 3D and Kid Icarus: Uprising arriving in summer.
Nintendo has also confirmed that Mario Kart 3DS, Animal Crossing 3DS and Paper Mario 3DS are also all on the way, but release windows are still to be announced.
The firm revealed the full launch line-up for 3DS in Japan yesterday at its Nintendo World 2011 event. Konami's Winning Eleven and Capcom's Street Fighter IV will join six other titles available on day one.
The Nintendo 3DS will launch in February in Japan, and will follow in March for the EU and US. Concrete release dates for territories in the West are expected to be announced on January 19 at consecutive 3DS preview events in Amsterdam and New York.
