Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata is to keynote the 2011 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this March.
Iwata has previously used GDC keynotes in 2005, 2006 and 2009 to spill information on the Revolution (which became Wii) and to debut The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, among other announcements.
His speech this year, entitled 'Video Games Turn 25: A Historical Perspective and Vision for the Future', will focus on how gaming has evolved and where it goes from here.
GDC director Meggan Scavio said: "We are honoured and pleased to welcome Mr. Iwata back to the keynote stage for our 25th conference. Nintendo continues to innovate and captivate developers and gamers alike, and we're looking forward to their unique insights into both the history and future of the game business."
