'Luxury' 3DS accessory kit detailed

Blaze offering third party peripherals for the upcoming handheld

Third party accessories firm Blaze is one of the first peripheral makers to jump on the 3DS bandwagon ahead of the handheld's European launch in March.

It has just released the first details of its upcoming "3DS Luxury Accessory Kit", which is also compatible with DSi and DS Lite.

The kit features pretty much what you'd expect, including a bespoke air foam case to protect your DS, a pair of 3DS compatible earphones "with an audio and build quality far above the specifications of the products we have been accustomed to", and a USB port and car charger which can provide charge from 12v car power outlets and standard USB sockets.

It also comes with a large pen style stylus, screen protectors, a screen cleaning cloth, game protector cases and a drawstring bag to keep everything together. The kit will be available in time for the release of the 3DS for £9.99.

We're looking for pictures of the kit now and we'll add them if we can find them.

Jonathan Ross hinted this weekend that a Metroid 3DS game is on its way to Nintendo's new handheld, and also said the system's is "far better" than expected.
