Microsoft will announce official Kinect support for PC "in the coming months", according to Winrumors.
Sources told the site that MS is currently preparing an official Kinect SDK and driver support for Windows based PCs.
The report suggests Microsoft will distribute the drivers under the "beta" tag, and that the platform holder's looking to incorporate the support into a forthcoming 'Community Technical Preview' of the company's XNA Game Studio tools.
Earlier this month, MS CEO Steve Ballmer said the company would officially support Kinect on PC at "the right time".
However, shortly after, MS provided us with a statement saying its current focus with Kinect is on "transforming games and entertainment on Xbox 360".
