Nintendo has confirmed that Wii Mii characters will be transferable to the new 3DS handheld, which was today confirmed for a March 25 UK launch.
But, however, you won't be able to transfer Miis from the 3DS onto your Wii. Why? "It's a one way transfer," explains NOA product marketing manager Bill Trinen.
"You can send your Miis from your Wii to your 3DS. But, because the Mii Maker on the Nintendo 3DS is a more robust program and has newer features, like hairstyles and eyes and things like that, the Miis you create there can't go back to the Wii," he added.
That is the first notion of connectivity between the 3DS and Nintendo's home console, albeit limited.
How else would you like to see 3DS connect with Wii?
