Sega cans Thor PSP to focus on 3DS

The 3DS is almost upon us and Sega wants to be ready for it.

In a new release schedule firm has confirmed the cancellation of Thor: God of Thunder on PSP, as it dedicates more resources to the looming release of Nintendo's new handheld.

The game is set to release on other formats on April 29 - a revision from the previously announced May 3, according to MCV.

The firm will be releasing a 3DS version of the game although no release date has been set.

It has been developed by Sega and co-written by Matt Fraction, the Eisner Award-winning writer of the comic book series. You can check out a trailer for the game over here.
