Former Sony Computer Entertainment president Ken Kutaragi refused to be drawn on his feelings about PSP2 (codename NGP) when asked following the new portable's official reveal yesterday.
Asked whether NGP was part of the future he envisioned while driving the creation of the PSP and Sony's three home consoles, he said: "I've already turned over the reigns. Ask [Kaz] Hirai."
"No comment," Kutaragi added, according to Kotaku. We'd give a penny for the real thoughts of the father of PlayStation.
Sony officially announced NGP during a special PlayStation event in Tokyo this morning.
