The upcoming Red Faction TV movie set for the SyFy channel, Red Faction: Origin, will star none other than Robert Patrick, according to IMDB.
Patrick is probably best known for his role as the Terminator nemesis T-1000 in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
He also starred alongside Joaquin Phoenix in Walk The Line and Ladder 49.
In Red Faction: Origins Patrick will take the role of Alec Mason with Brian J. Smith playing Jake Mason.
Other known stars in Origins' cast include Devon Graye, who has acted in CSI and Dexter, as well as Brit thesp Gareth David-Lloyd, who's appeared in Torchwood and Doctor Who. Stargate Universe's Lt. Matthew Scott, Brian J. Smith, will also appear.
THQ's core games boss Danny Bilson told press back in January that the movie, which is set to air in March, will star "exciting talent". So there you have it.
Bilson also promised the flick will come in at about two hours long, and boasts a screenplay written by notable writer and producer Andrew Kreisberg (Warehouse 13, Fringe, Vampire Diaries and Boston Legal), based on a story developed by Paul DeMeo (The Rocketeer, Flash, Viper, The Sentinel).
More details on the film were released a few months ago and it's sounding good to us.
