Capcom has released screenshots of Resident Evil protagonist Jill Valentine and Marvel menace Shuma-Gorath in Marvel vs Capcom 3.

The two fighters are Marvel vs Capcom regulars, with Shuma Gorath appearing in pretty much every Capcom produced Marvel fighting game since Marvel Super Heroes.
Resident Evil heroine Jill was featured in Marvel vs Capcom 2, but from the looks of these screens she'll be based on the Resident Evil 5 version of Jill. In other words, no annoying zombie assists.
GamesMaster delivered one of the world's first Marvel vs. Capcom review write-ups.

I want MVC3, but perhaps I'll wait for the "complete" edition.

I'll wait until its £17.99 and then get the DLC. I'm not getting conned for being an early purchaser any more.

Snap.
Can see lower than expected sales figures due to their DLC strategy. Reckon I'll wait a year for the inevitable complete/hyper/ultimate/super/whatever edition

They don't tend to do that with MvC like they do SF. I assume the licensing is pretty strict or something.

Is this another "DLC" situation where the characters are on the disc already but you're paying to unlock them? Screams of the DLC debacle around one of RE5's 'DLC' components actually already existing on the disc.

Nothing says "f**k you" to the customer quite like a DLC release just one bloody week after a game hits the shelves.
