Nintendo's US boss Reggie Fils-Aime has admitted that it's hard to please everyone with the 3DS launch line-up.
Nintendo's just revealed 3DS launch line-up features 13 games, but not fan favourites such as Mario Kart and Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, which won't be available before June.
"We can never win," he told GTTV. "We launch with a Mario game and people say 'You always launch with Mario, what else is coming? Where's Kid Icarus. where's Pilotwings?' We launch with Pilotwings and people say 'Where's Mario' so we can never win."
So when will the forthcoming Mario games be released? Fils-Aime didn't give much away.
"We showed off Mario Kart, we showed off Paper Mario so Mario's coming. Mario's going to come when it makes most sense in driving hardware and driving consumer excitement.
"We wanted third parties to have a great presence in the launch window and we've achieved that."
Fils-Aime previously said that the third party 3DS launch line-up is the best we've ever had.
