With Ryu and Akuma in there they've already got enough Shotokan characters, Strider should defo be there he's a Capcom legend. There's already 3 Resi characters in there, with Jill in the DLC. Frank West or Chuck Greene should also defo be in there. I think one of Dante's pallette swaps is Vergil (though Eurogamer seem to think its Sparda). And you can't have 2 characters called Ryu. I also don't think Onimusha characters are that well known.

Venom is a given but i think Carnage would be too similar, Cable was probably one of my favourite characters alongside Magneto from MvC2, never liked Thanos though. Nova's probably just not too well known and i've never heard of Rocket Racoon, though i haven't picked up a Marvel comic for years. Green Goblin i think would just be too hard to put in and would probably have been left out due to the same reasons the Silver Surfer was, Gobbie would need his glider just as the SS would need his board.

Classic but would he be on the Marvel or Capcom side? Maybe have Cpt Mainwaring from Dads Army and Battery Sergeant Major 'Shut up' Williams from It Ain't Half hot Mum as some future DLC. Or Albert Steptoe.

I think we've really stumbled onto something here, a 2d vintage British comedy fighter . Perhaps it could be entitled carry on fighting,then you could have the Barbara Windsor "carry on camping" flying bikini top , or the sid James laugh as a sonic attack

Maybe have Steptoe using a Rag and Bone special and the guys from Only when i Laugh using their slippers as fireballs and Wilberforce (f**kin fantastic name!) Humphries with an "I'm Free" ultra attack. God i'm showing my age here, anyway lets get off to the patent office before Bobby Kotick nicks it.

Now that's a game i want to play. You could have The blokes from last of the summer wine in it too. Thier ultra attack would have to be flying into thier opponents in a bath tub.
