Valve has confirmed that earlier reports are false and there is in fact NO support for the PlayStation Move controller in Portal 2.

Love Portal 2? Check out Games Radar's special Portal 2 Launch Centre for all the latest news, movies and Portal 2 goodies.
Valve has told CVG it's not happening and puts the rumour down to a translation error. Valve's statement in full:
"There's a story making the rounds regarding Portal 2 support for PS3 Move. Unfortunately this quote was "lost in translation" -- Portal 2 does not include support for Sony's motion controller.
Oh well.

It's not like you can blame them for not having a personal German translator on staff to check the translation for errors alot of other sites got it wrong as well, and atleast they corrected it and basically admitted their mistake, it could have happened to anyone and in this case it seems to have happened to everyone, so stop hating on them.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Valve patched the support in within a few months after release though, the awesome bastards

It’s disappointing to hear that Portal 2 won’t be getting Move support, but as we said in the original article:
“Seeing as this report was based on a Google translation of Faliszek's interview with the PS Blog, we've mailed Valve to confirm the details.”
We posted a fresh story as soon as possible with the official comment we got back from Valve, but it’s still a shame we got your hopes up unnecessarily. Perhaps Move support will be patched in at a later date.

You also claimed that Dead Space 2 has Move support. If Valve says that Portal 2 won't support Move I'm going to be inclined to believe them.

the translation from german to english was correct. he did state that it had move support. His statement appears to have been wrong though.
