Japanese developer and home of Harvest Moon, Natsume, has revealed its first game for 3DS is NOT a Harvest Moon title, but a fishing game.
Reel Fishing Paradise 3D lets players cast out in over a dozen locations in competitions to become a top angler. "They'll fish tranquil lakes, rocky coasts, flooded forests, and more," says Natsume.
It promises a "huge variety of fish" including wily largemouth bass and bluefin tuna, and players will need to "mix and match" all of their rods, reels, lines, lures and bait in their effort to figure out the best set up for specific fish.
The game will use the 3D mode to have fish and splashing water jumping off the screen, promises Natsume. Thrilling.
The game will be out in spring. The first shot is above.
