Bulletstorm paid DLC announced

Gun Sonata pack features new maps for Anarchy and Echo modes

Epic has announced the first paid DLC for Bulletstorm on the day the shooter hits US retail.

The 'Gun Sonata pack', the DLC will offer three new maps for the game's Anarchy multiplayer mode and two for its Echo mode, which tracks and compares players' scores through locations found in the campaign, as well as two new Leash enhancements, the Flamingo and the Pulp.

"From the wretched Sewers of Stygia to the dilapidated ruins of Hotel Elysium and the open spaces of Villa, the Gun Sonata Anarchy maps provide even more settings for players to work together in order to pull off fantastic team skillshots," publisher EA said.

The Echo mode maps will be Crash Site, "where Final Echo soldiers must deal with the ramifications of their crashed ship", and Guns of Stygia, "in which a captive commando escapes from an enemy prison".

The Gun Sonata DLC will be available this spring for 800 Microsoft Points (£6.85) on Xbox 360 and $9.99 on PS3.
