EA Partners boss steps down

Group general manager David DeMartini shifts towards a 'new commercial role'

EA's David DeMartini has stepped down as group general manager of EA Partners, it was confirmed at a press event today.

DeMartini was the man responsible for brokering and maintaining deals with the likes of Epic, Crytek and Harmonix, playing a key role in the significant transformation EA has undergone in recent years.

EA's senior VP and COO of the EA Games label, Brian Neider, will step in as his replacement as DeMartini moves to take on a 'new commercial role'.

DeMartini says he's had a "great experience" and pays tribute to the "extraordinarily talented" developers he's worked with.
