BioShock 2 PC gets 'Protector Trials' tomorrow

And hopefully it'll work this time

2K has confirmed that the 'Protector Trials' DLC expansion for BioShock 2 on PC will be officially released tomorrow, March 14.

This comes three weeks after the same DLC pack was prematurely released and outraged fans who rushed to purchase it (even though it was previously promised to be free) only to find that it didn't work. "These were not supposed to go live," confirmed a 2K rep at the time.

The download will reappear on Games for Windows Live tomorrow and it will be free this time. Fingers crossed it'll work too.

Along with the DLC will come a small patch for the game that looks to fix minor glitches including problems with mouse sensitivity (full list below).

2K also says it's "still working on 'Minerva's Den'", promising a release date announcement "as we get closer to a firm launch date for that pack".

Here are the patch notes:

- Fixed unlocalized text in Customize Controls screen.
- Player mouse functionality no longer drops out when the Video Card Driver Warning appears.
- User.ini no longer overwritten when game loads. This should address mouse sensitivity issues as well as many v-sync option bugs.
