Valve's shown off some new Portal 2 gameplay at PAX East in Boston, USA, as well as announcing a new character, Cave Johnson.
Johnson, who's voiced by JK Simmons of Spider-Man fame, is the founder of Aperture Science and like Glados will guide you through the battered test chambers of Portal 2.

As well as unveiling Johnson, Valve also revealed plans to fill in the gap between the first and second Portal games. Erik Wolpaw told Kotaku: "We're actually going to release something that we're not talking about yet that will give a little bit of the story of the interim time. We're doing that before release."
Valve also said that the sequel will feature a new song by band The National. Portal 2 writer Chet Faliszek explained: "The inclusion of the original song, Still Alive, in the first Portal game was part of what made the game special.
"For Portal 2, we wanted to extend the use of music. When Bug Music mentioned to us that The National might be interested, we jumped at the opportunity to work with them."
Portal 2's out in Europe on April 21. Cannot wait.
