DJ Hero 2 is still alive too - DLC lands

'Indie Hip Hop Mix Pack' brings three new mixes

DJ Hero 2 may have been cancelled but it isn't going down without a fight. Ubisoft has delivered on its promise of more DLC for the DJ game following a rush of fan support for the title.

The "Indie Hip Hop Mix Pack" is now available for download and brings three new mixes to game featuring a selection of underground hip hop artists.

This is a victory to the fans. After axing the DJ and Guitar Hero businesses, Activision said February would be the last month of DLC for the much-loved but brutally cancelled franchise.

Then the millions of fans that hit the games' official Facebook pages reminded Activision that there are people out there who still love their rhythmic action, causing it to change its mind about quitting DLC support.

The pack costs $8/640 MS Points on PS3 or Xbox respectively. On Wii the mixes need to be purchased individually for a steep $3 each.

Here's the tracklist:

- "My World Premiere" by Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf mixed with "The Red (Instrumental)" by Jaylib

- "Party Hard" by The Perceptionists featuring Guru & Camu Tao, mixed with "Ghostwriter" by RJD2

- "The Best Day" by Atmosphere (Remix by FSG)
